Heather Page, LCSW

I had my own undiagnosed anxiety as a kid that was amplified after my parents' divorce. I saw a therapist for months and months who was clearly not the right fit, and that experience is a big part of why I do this work. I want to help kids advocate for themselves and teach parents how to help and how to listen.

I specialize in anxiety disorders and childhood grief. I use CBT and creative arts therapy because kids open up faster when their hands are busy (building, drawing, making something) while they talk. Before joining the practice, I worked in school counseling and hospice care, and both taught me that kids process hard things on their own timeline.

When I'm not with clients: family time, running, and a never-ending list of house projects.
